Export of adhesives based on rubber or plastic from South Africa climbs in 2017

In 2017 adhesives export rose greatly by 40.62%, revised numbers from United Nations Statistical Office show. It shows the all-time maximum since 2000 as the indicator went up strongly by 2 157 008.5 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it climbed by 34.09 percent. South Africa saw a growth of 838.53% in adhesives export during the last 18 years. Furthermore, it has had a 0.13 percent average annual growth rate over the five years with a negligible overall rise since the 2000. It averaged 3 043 559.75 US Dollar from 2000 to 2017 and it hit its minimum of 770 371 US Dollar in 2001.
