Fuel oil refinery output in Portugal rises in May 2018

Fuel oil production climbed by 24.5 percent compared with the prior month, according to refreshed statistics announced by JODI Data. Fuel oil production went up from 200 thousand tonnes to 249 thousand tonnes, in comparison with the previous month when it fell by 14.53 percent. The data hit 243 thousand tonnes in May 2017, which is a 25.26 percent change compared to April of 2017. In short, the indicator was 2.47 percent larger in May 2017 than in the same month the year after. The overall changes for the prior 16 years attained a decrease of 0.8%. In comparison to its average, the fuel oil production is now higher as the mean equals 226.47 thousand tonnes with a overall decline since the start of observations. It reached its all-time high of 364 thousand tonnes in November 2008 and record low of 79 thousand tonnes in February 2004.
