Fuel oil consumption in manufacture of metal products in China decreases in 2015

China National Statistical Office reported that fuel oil consumption went down by 7.1% in comparison with the previous year. The indicator fell from 7.18 ten thousand metric ton to 6.67 ten thousand metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it diminished by 14.42%. It's the lowest record in its history since 2000. China saw a decrease of 48.41% in fuel oil consumption over the past 16 years. Likewise, it has had a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.12 percent over the last 5 years with a overall decline since the start of observations. It averaged 12.09 ten thousand metric ton from 2000 to 2015 and it hit its maximum of 16.74 ten thousand metric ton in 2005.
