Lime production in Serbia grows in 2014

U.S. Geological Survey announced that lime production grew by 14.7 percent in comparison to the previous year. Lime production climbed by 41 thousand tonnes, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went up by 16.95%. The overall changes for the previous 17 years hit a decline of 78.99%. Besides, it has shown the compound average annual growth rate of 0.06% over the last five years with a slight overall drop since the 1998. It averaged 289.07 thousand tonnes from 1998 to 2014 and it attained its all-time high of 1 523 thousand tonnes in 1998 and record low of 238.56 thousand tonnes in 2012.
