Export of propelling or sliding pencils from Portugal: Drop in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office published that compared to the previous year the variable diminished by 12.55%. Consumer goods export went down from 141 537 to 123 781.14, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it fell by 13.94%. Portugal saw a decline of 89.93% in consumer goods export during the last 18 years. Likewise, the consumer goods export is now smaller than its average which equals 184 566.67 and the indicator shows a marginal overall fall since the start of observations. It hit its all-time high of 1 228 736 in 2000 and record low of 26 890 in 2004.
