Export of grapefruit from Jamaica decreases in 2017

The variable sharply declined by 52.04% in 2017, according to statistics released by United Nations Statistical Office. It shows the all-time minimum since 1991 as the indicator dropped greatly from 523 US Dollar to 250.81 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it fell by 87.32 percent. Jamaica saw a decrease of 99.84% in grapefruit export over the past 27 years. Moreover, it has attained a fall at a 0.37% compound annual growth rate during the five years with a negligible overall decline since the start of time series. It averaged 33 789.18 US Dollar from 1991 to 2017 and it hit its maximum of 181 897 US Dollar in 1992.
