Export of pocket, pen knives with folding blades from Namibia falls in 2016

In comparison to one year earlier the indicator declined strongly by 54.67%, according to statistics released by United Nations Statistical Office. Consumer goods export greatly fell from 1 211 kilogram to 549 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went down by 28.22 percent. Namibia saw a rise of 465.98% in consumer goods export over the past 17 years. However, it has had a drop at a 0.27 percent average annual growth rate during the last five years with a slight overall raise since the start of time series. It averaged 2 286.18 kilogram from 2000 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 27 345 kilogram in 2009 and record low of 53 kilogram in 2001.
