Import of sections l/t of iron or non-alloy steel not further worked than hot-rolled, hot-drawn or extruded, of a height of more than 80 mm to Japan: Decline in 2017

Compared to the previous year metal products import greatly declined by 76.12%, updated numbers from United Nations Statistical Office illustrate. The variable sharply decreased from 453 736 kilogram to 108 333 kilogram, in comparison to the prior year when it went up by 93.04 percent. The overall changes for the previous 30 years reached a decrease of 89.82%. Furthermore, it has shown a decline at a 0.33 percent compound average annual growth rate during the five years with a negligible overall drop since the 1988. It averaged 1 344 496.1 kilogram from 1988 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 5 204 133 kilogram in 2001 and record low of 12 234 kilogram in 2007.
