Export of aircraft parts from Philippines drops in 2017

According to revised numbers published by United Nations Statistical Office, compared with the previous year the indicator greatly declined by 99.74 percent. Aircraft export sharply dropped from 802 356 544 kilogram in 2016 to 2 068 034 kilogram prior year, versus the previous year when it increased by 4 162.45%. Philippines saw a rise of 13 057.11% in aircraft export over the past 22 years. Moreover, it has attained a 0.23 percent compound annual growth rate over the last five years with a modest overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 37 799 459.09 kilogram from 1996 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 802 356 544 kilogram in 2016 and record low of 5 652 kilogram in 1998.
