Export of automobiles  with spark-ignition internal combustion reciprocating piston engine of a cylinder capacity 1500-3000 cc from Rwanda declines in 2016

Vehicle export decreased sharply by 70.63% in comparison with one year earlier, according to updated figures presented by United Nations Statistical Office. Vehicle export greatly declined from 248 895 kilogram in 2015 to 73 091 kilogram previous year, versus the prior year when it increased by 92.97 percent. The overall changes for the previous 20 years reached a raise of 3 554.55%. However, it has had a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.25 percent during the 5 years with a modest overall rise since the 1997. It averaged 113 981.35 kilogram from 1997 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 622 802 kilogram in 2009 and record low of 2 000 kilogram in 1997.
