Gas and diesel import in Cyprus declines in June 2018

The variable went down by 27.87 percent in comparison with May 2018, according to figures released by JODI Data. Gas and diesel oil import fell from 451.4 thousand barrels to 325.6 thousand barrels, as it follows the tendency of the prior month when it dropped by 12.86 percent. One year earlier, this variation reached -18.18% and the gas and diesel oil import hit 399.6 thousand barrels the same month one year earlier. When looking at the year-on-year situation, a -18.52 percent diminution can be announced between June 2017 and the same month the year after. The overall changes for the previous 16 years attained an increase of 46.67%. Furthermore, the gas and diesel oil import is now below average of 356.62 thousand barrels with a strong overall rise since the start of observations. It reached its all-time high of 695.6 thousand barrels in November 2012 and record low of 29.6 thousand barrels in July 2003.
