Import of medicaments of other antibiotics packaged for retail sale to Hungary: Decline in 2017

European Commission published that antibiotic import decreased by 6.11% in 2017. The variable declined from 62 933 060 Euro in 2016 to 59 088 008 Euro previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it dropped by 17.73%. Hungary saw a raise of 33.19% in antibiotic import over the past 17 years. Still it has attained a negative average annual growth rate of 0.05% during the last five years with a slight overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 67 970 899.76 Euro from 2001 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 94 313 400 Euro in 2011 and record low of 44 364 000 Euro in 2001.
