Export of frozen boneless sheep cuts from Portugal: Decline in 2017

According to updated statistics released by United Nations Statistical Office, in comparison with one year earlier sheep export strongly declined by 94.1 percent. Sheep export dropped sharply from 29 145 kilogram to 1 720 kilogram, versus the prior year when it grew by 144.16 percent. The overall changes for the previous 25 years attained a diminution of 90.63%. As well as it has attained a decrease at a 0.53 percent compound average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a slight overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 18 564.44 kilogram from 1993 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 143 021 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 26 kilogram in 1997.
