Export of fresh or chilled whole mackerel from Spain: Fall in 2017

Mackerel export decreased by 14.66% in comparison to the prior year, according to new data released by United Nations Statistical Office. The variable fell by 1 734 627 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it declined by 7.2%. Spain saw a growth of 1 073.07% in mackerel export during the last 29 years. As well as the mackerel export is now bigger than its average which equals 7 846 974.55 kilogram and the indicator indicates a modest overall rise since the start of observations. It reached its all-time high of 30 742 948 kilogram in 2009 and record low of 860 564 kilogram in 1989.
