Import of palmitic acid, stearic acid to Bosnia and Herzegovina: Growth in 2017

According to updated statistics issued by United Nations Statistical Office, in comparison with the previous year the indicator sharply went up by 52.12 percent. It's the highest record ever established since 2003 as oleochemicals import rose strongly from 109 806 kilogram to 167 032 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it grew by 21.71%. Bosnia and Herzegovina saw a rise of 17 408.6% in oleochemicals import during the last 15 years. Furthermore, it has shown a raise at a 0.13 percent compound annual growth rate during the 5 years with a marginal overall increase since the 2003. It averaged 59 036.47 kilogram from 2003 to 2017 and it reached its minimum of 954 kilogram in 2003.
