European Commission announced that in 2017 flax yarn import went up greatly by 294.95 percent. The indicator strongly grew by 73 030 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it climbed by 48.89%. Slovakia saw a decrease of 87.27% in flax yarn import during the last 15 years. Besides, it has had a 0.27 percent CAGR during the five years with a modest overall decline since the start of observations. It averaged 186 134.67 Euro from 2003 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 767 970 Euro in 2003 and record low of 16 630 Euro in 2015.
