Import of fresh or chilled whole eels to Europe goes up in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office reported that in comparison to the previous year import of fresh or chilled whole eels climbed sharply by 68 073.53%. The variable went up strongly from 29.88 US Dollar to 20 368.21 US Dollar, in contrast to the prior year when it diminished by 99.95%. Europe saw a fall of 91.37% in import of fresh or chilled whole eels over the past 18 years. As well as it has had a 3.19% compound annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a negligible overall decrease since the 2000. It averaged 240 457.17 US Dollar from 2000 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 1 107 223 US Dollar in 2004 and record low of 29.88 US Dollar in 2016.
