Export of boots with outer sole of rubber or plastics and uppers of leather from Latvia: Increase in 2016

Footwear export strongly rose by 89.71 percent in 2016, new numbers from United Nations Statistical Office highlight. The variable greatly went up by 2 242 418 US Dollar, in comparison with the previous year when it diminished by 62.78%. The overall changes for the prior 23 years hit an increase of 733.08%. Though, it has shown a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.08 percent during the five years with a marginal overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 2 494 980.96 US Dollar from 1994 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 7 792 513 US Dollar in 2011 and record low of 117 997 US Dollar in 2003.
