Light commercial vehicles production in Venezuela: Fall in 2017

Compared to the previous year light commercial vehicle production sharply declined by 49.13 percent, according to revised numbers released by OICA. It attained its 18-year low as the indicator strongly dropped from 1 675 to 852, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it diminished by 78.69 percent. Venezuela saw a decrease of 14.8% in light commercial vehicle production during the last 18 years. Likewise, it has attained a negative average annual growth rate of 0.49% over the last five years with a modest overall diminution since the start of time series. It averaged 17 456.33 from 2000 to 2017 and it reached its maximum of 42 024 in 2007.
