Export of fresh or chilled sheep carcasses and half carcasses from Ethiopia goes down in 2016

Sheep export decreased by 25.44 percent in 2016, updated statistics from United Nations Statistical Office demonstrate. The variable diminished from 1 017 346 kilogram in 2015 to 758 506 kilogram previous year, in comparison to the prior year when it grew by 4.41%. The overall changes for the previous 22 years reached a growth of 198.32%. However, it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.14% over the five years with a negligible overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 298 849.91 kilogram from 1995 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 1 572 486 kilogram in 2012 and record low of 1 500 kilogram in 2001.
