Import of flour or meal of dried legumes to Sri Lanka: Growth in 2017

According to statistics presented by United Nations Statistical Office, in comparison with the previous year dried legumes import rose by 5.17 percent. The variable grew from 22 880 kilogram in 2016 to 24 062.3 kilogram prior year, compared with the previous year when it diminished by 75.37%. The overall changes for the prior 27 years reached an increase of 48 024.6%. Though, it has had a decrease at a 0.34% compound average annual growth rate over the last five years with a modest overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 98 140.01 kilogram from 1991 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 670 158 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 13 kilogram in 1992.
