Gas and diesel refinery output in Papua New Guinea decreases in May 2018

Compared with the prior month gas and diesel oil production fell by 21.04 percent, refreshed figures from JODI Data show. The variable diminished by 1.99 thousand barrels per day, contrarily to the prior month when it increased by 51.81 percent. The year before, this shift hit 4.01 percent and the gas and diesel oil production attained 10.66 thousand barrels per day the same month the year before. When examining the year-on-year situation, a -30% drop can be established between May 2017 and May of the year after. The overall changes for the previous 11 years reached a decrease of 7.9%. In comparison with its average, the gas and diesel oil production is now lower as the mean equals 8.54 thousand barrels per day with a overall rise since the start of time series. It hit its all-time high of 14.07 thousand barrels per day in March 2017 and record low of 1.61 thousand barrels per day in October 2014.
