Import of refined soyabean oil to Fiji decreases in 2016

Compared to the prior year the variable dropped sharply by 74.16%, adjusted numbers from United Nations Statistical Office show. Soyabean oil import decreased greatly by 4 370 013 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it fell by 42.9%. Fiji saw a growth of 624.73% in soyabean oil import during the last 15 years. Though, it has shown a decline at a 0.28 percent compound annual growth rate during the five years with a modest overall rise since the 2002. It averaged 3 872 658.6 kilogram from 2002 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 10 319 678 kilogram in 2014 and record low of 210 128 kilogram in 2002.
