Import of refined soyabean oil to Fiji: Decrease in 2016

According to adjusted data released by United Nations Statistical Office, in comparison with the prior year soyabean oil import sharply went down by 74.16 percent. Soyabean oil import diminished greatly from 5 892 864 kilogram in 2015 to 1 522 851 kilogram previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it declined by 42.9 percent. Fiji saw a rise of 624.73% in soyabean oil import over the past 15 years. Though, it has had a decline at a 0.28% average annual growth rate during the five years with a slight overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 3 872 658.6 kilogram from 2002 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 10 319 678 kilogram in 2014 and record low of 210 128 kilogram in 2002.
