Import of hydrides, nitrides, azides, silicides and borides to Japan grows in 2017

According to updated statistics announced by United Nations Statistical Office, compared with the prior year the indicator went up by 8.92%. Inorganic chemicals import grew by 97 739.63 kilogram, contrarily to the previous year when it decreased by 9.91 percent. Japan saw a rise of 489.68% in inorganic chemicals import during the last 30 years. Still it has attained a negative CAGR of 0.1 percent over the last 5 years with a modest overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 1 330 983.79 kilogram from 1988 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 4 154 045 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 199 506 kilogram in 1991.
