Import of  waste and scrap of cast iron to Sri Lanka: Decline in 2017

In 2017 the variable dropped by 19.9%, updated figures from United Nations Statistical Office display. The indicator diminished by 8 128.44 US Dollar, versus the prior year when it rose by 294.66 percent. Sri Lanka saw a decrease of 22.64% in cast iron import over the past 27 years. Moreover, it has had an increase at a 0.46% CAGR during the last five years with a marginal overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 22 804.61 US Dollar from 1991 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 226 455 US Dollar in 2012 and record low of 2 US Dollar in 1999.
