Re-import of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals, other than crude to Slovakia increases in 2016

Compared with the previous year petroleum oil import sharply climbed by 146.76%, refreshed figures from United Nations Statistical Office pinpoint. The indicator greatly increased from 4 258 112 US Dollar in 2015 to 10 507 412 US Dollar prior year, versus the previous year when it went down by 52.08 percent. Slovakia saw a rise of 6 381.46% in petroleum oil import during the last 15 years. Though, it has attained a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.21% during the five years with a marginal overall increase since the 2002. It averaged 8 820 171.2 US Dollar from 2002 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 43 775 640 US Dollar in 2013 and record low of 162 115 US Dollar in 2002.
