Re-import of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals, other than crude to Slovakia grows in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office announced that in 2016 petroleum oil import rose greatly by 146.76%. The variable sharply increased from 4 258 112 US Dollar to 10 507 412 US Dollar, in comparison to the prior year when it diminished by 52.08%. Slovakia saw a rise of 6 381.46% in petroleum oil import over the past 15 years. However, it has shown a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.21 percent during the last five years with a modest overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 8 820 171.2 US Dollar from 2002 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 43 775 640 US Dollar in 2013 and record low of 162 115 US Dollar in 2002.
