Import of frozen swine cuts to Namibia decreases in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office published that the variable greatly diminished by 38.1 percent in 2016. The indicator fell strongly from 1 353 574 kilogram to 837 869 kilogram, in contrast to the previous year when it climbed by 51.69 percent. Namibia saw a raise of 4.54% in pork import during the last 17 years. Besides, it has shown a rise at a 0.04 percent compound average annual growth rate over the last five years with a marginal overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 977 671 kilogram from 2000 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 2 927 056 kilogram in 2009 and record low of 240 058 kilogram in 2002.
