Export of polyvinyl chloride waste or scrap from Portugal declines in 2017

According to data announced by United Nations Statistical Office, in 2017 polyvinyl chloride export strongly fell by 72.18 percent. The variable sharply declined from 5 205 020 kilogram in 2016 to 1 448 046 kilogram prior year, in contrast to the previous year when it went up by 52.85 percent. Portugal saw an increase of 10 174.93% in polyvinyl chloride export during the last 30 years. Though, it has shown a decrease at a 0.17% CAGR during the 5 years with a marginal overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 1 546 857.4 kilogram from 1988 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 6 526 879 kilogram in 2008 and record low of 14 093 kilogram in 1988.
