Export of smoked salmon from Ireland: Drop in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office published that salmon export diminished hardly by 4.7 percent compared with the previous year. Salmon export negligibly went down from 355 413 kilogram in 2015 to 338 715 kilogram prior year, contrarily to the previous year when it increased by 44.17%. The overall changes for the prior 25 years reached a decrease of 26.65%. Moreover, it has shown a 0.01% average annual growth rate during the last five years with a slight overall fall since the 1992. It averaged 364 218.52 kilogram from 1992 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 506 591 kilogram in 1999 and record low of 246 522 kilogram in 2014.
