Import of prepared or preserved meat, meat offal and blood to China increases in 2016

In 2016 the variable greatly grew by 4 456.66%, refreshed statistics from United Nations Statistical Office indicate. Processed meat import sharply climbed by 26 116 kilogram, in contrast to the previous year when it diminished by 51.29%. China saw a decline of 15.49% in processed meat import during the last 25 years. As well as it has shown the average annual growth rate of 0.5% during the last 5 years with a negligible overall decrease since the 1992. It averaged 31 490.92 kilogram from 1992 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 150 368 kilogram in 1994 and record low of 316 kilogram in 2006.
