Sales of men's or boys' bib and brace overalls of cotton or man-made fibres, for industrial or occupational wear in Austria declines in 2016

European Commission reported that in comparison to the previous year men's clothing sales fell by 7.52 percent. The variable declined from 177.63 thousand items to 164.27 thousand items, versus the prior year when it went up by 15.65 percent. Austria saw a decline of 58.51% in men's clothing sales over the past 22 years. Moreover, it has shown a fall at a 0.15 percent compound annual growth rate over the last five years with a marginal overall diminution since the 1995. It averaged 455.46 thousand items from 1995 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 609.95 thousand items in 2000 and record low of 153.6 thousand items in 2014.
