Tea exports in China: Rise in 2016

China National Statistical Office announced that tea export rose by 7.47 percent compared to the previous year. It's the highest ever reported since 1994 as the indicator grew by 103.28 million US Dollars, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it increased by 8.57 percent. China saw a growth of 404.51% in tea export over the past 23 years. Moreover, it has attained a 0.07 percent compound average annual growth rate over the 5 years with a slight overall raise since the start of time series. It averaged 648.69 million US Dollars from 1994 to 2016 and it attained its minimum of 274.75 million US Dollars in 1995.
