Export of live fish from Costa Rica goes down in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office announced that in 2016 the variable declined by 22.75%. Fish export decreased from 29 710 US Dollar in 2015 to 22 950 US Dollar previous year, compared to the prior year when it grew by 60.94 percent. Costa Rica saw a rise of 1 646.58% in fish export during the last 21 years. Furthermore, it has shown a 0.14 percent compound average annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a slight overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 19 578.76 US Dollar from 1996 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 118 347 US Dollar in 2004 and record low of 176 US Dollar in 2000.
