Import of live pure-bred breeding horses to Uruguay goes up in 2016

In comparison to the year before the indicator sharply went up by 80.83 percent, updated statistics from United Nations Statistical Office highlight. Horses import climbed strongly from 63 576 kilogram in 2015 to 114 964 kilogram prior year, versus the previous year when it declined by 31.41 percent. The overall changes for the prior 23 years hit an increase of 444.26%. Furthermore, it has shown a 0.16 percent compound average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a modest overall rise since the 1994. It averaged 76 626.61 kilogram from 1994 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 168 112 kilogram in 2004 and record low of 21 123 kilogram in 1994.
