Re-export of weighing machinery having a capacity of 30-5000 kg from Mauritius drops in 2016

Compared with the previous year industrial equipment export fell strongly by 44.44 percent, according to adjusted statistics presented by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator sharply went down by 16 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it diminished by 56.1 percent. Mauritius saw a decline of 23.08% in industrial equipment export during the last 16 years. Likewise, it has shown a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.21% over the five years with a strong overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 21.69 kilogram from 2001 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 87 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 12 kilogram in 2010.
