Export of mattocks, picks, hoes and rakes from Costa Rica drops in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office reported that construction equipment export went down strongly by 92.41 percent in comparison with the previous year. The variable decreased sharply by 21 734 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it dropped by 47.5 percent. Costa Rica saw an increase of 178 400% in construction equipment export during the last 20 years. Though, it has shown a drop at a 0.4 percent average annual growth rate over the last five years with a marginal overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 5 929.5 US Dollar from 1997 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 44 799 US Dollar in 2014 and record low of 1 US Dollar in 1997.
