Palm oil consumption in Indonesia climbs in 2017

U.S. Department of Agriculture announced that compared with the previous year palm oil consumption climbed negligibly by 1.37 percent. It reached its 54-year high as the indicator grew hardly from 9 470 thousand tonnes to 9 600 thousand tonnes, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went up by 0.45%. Indonesia saw a raise of 31 900% in palm oil consumption during the last 54 years. Furthermore, it has shown a rise at a 0.02% CAGR during the last 5 years with a modest overall increase since the 1964. It averaged 2 588.09 thousand tonnes from 1964 to 2017 and it hit its minimum of 6 thousand tonnes in 1965.
