Import of single cotton yarn of combed fibres containing less than 85% by weight of cotton, measuring per single yarn more than 714 decitex to Indonesia: Raise in 2017

The indicator increased strongly by 91.14 percent in 2017, according to new figures presented by United Nations Statistical Office. Cotton import went up greatly by 3 374 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it rose by 146.47%. Indonesia saw a growth of 707 500% in cotton import over the past 29 years. However, it has attained a negative CAGR of 0.29% during the last five years with a marginal overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 21 282.17 kilogram from 1989 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 180 902 kilogram in 2005 and record low of 1 kilogram in 1989.
