Gas and diesel supply and demand balance in Malaysia drops in May 2018

The variable sharply went down by 41.2% in comparison to April 2018, revised figures from JODI Data highlight. The indicator fell strongly from 8 482.5 thousand barrels to 4 987.5 thousand barrels, compared to the prior month when it went up by 12.87 percent. The previous year, this fluctuation attained -19.86% and the gas and diesel oil supply and demand balance hit 7 242.52 thousand barrels in May of the year before. Year-on-year, this indicates a -31.14 percent shift between May 2017 and May of the year after. Malaysia saw a fall of 3 794.44% in gas and diesel oil supply and demand balance over the past 9 years. Furthermore, the gas and diesel oil supply and demand balance is now greater than its average which equals 2 154.87 thousand barrels with a slight overall raise since the start of time series. It reached its all-time high of 14 640.54 thousand barrels in June 2016 and record low of -5 632.5 thousand barrels in February 2013.
