World commercial vehicles in use increases in 2017

OICA reported that in 2017 the indicator barely rose by 2.8 percent. It reached its 13-year high as commercial vehicles in use negligibly grew from 344 863.17 thousand units to 354 536.35 thousand units, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it climbed by 2.89%. The variable saw a 48.86% increase during the last 13 years. Besides, it has had a raise at a 0.02% compound annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a slight overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 294 988.63 thousand units from 2005 to 2017 and it hit its minimum of 238 174.05 thousand units in 2005.
