Export of lumber of beech (fagus spp) from Belgium: Increase in 2017

Compared with the prior year wood product export grew by 16.43%, according to data released by United Nations Statistical Office. It highlights the all-time high since 2004 as the indicator climbed by 7 263.19 cubic meter, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it rose by 11.43 percent. Belgium saw an increase of 125.24% in wood product export during the last 14 years. Moreover, it has attained a growth at a 0.07 percent average annual growth rate over the five years with a modest overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 24 383.8 cubic meter from 2004 to 2017 and it reached its minimum of 6 757 cubic meter in 2007.
