Import of phosphoric acid and polyphosphoric acids to Guatemala increases in 2016

Phosphoric acid import grew by 18.48 percent in 2016, according to revised data presented by United Nations Statistical Office. Phosphoric acid import increased from 4 116 923 kilogram in 2015 to 4 877 722 kilogram prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it climbed by 16.73%. Guatemala saw a rise of 524.15% in phosphoric acid import during the last 24 years. Likewise, it has attained the compound annual growth rate of 0.15 percent during the five years with a negligible overall decline since the 1993. It averaged 18 911 169.92 kilogram from 1993 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 401 041 696 kilogram in 1995 and record low of 754 722 kilogram in 1996.
