Sold production of chocolates not containing alcohol in Czech Republic grows in 2017

European Commission announced that compared with the prior year chocolate sold production climbed slightly by 3.42 percent. Chocolate sold production negligibly grew by 95 163 kilogram, in contrast to the previous year when it decreased by 0.49 percent. Czech Republic saw a decline of 20.89% in chocolate sold production over the past 10 years. Besides, the chocolate sold production is now higher than its average which equals 2 297 520.9 kilogram and the indicator illustrates a modest overall drop since the start of time series. It hit its all-time high of 3 634 788 kilogram in 2008 and record low of 2 193 063 kilogram in 2011.
