Import of yarn of artificial staple fibres packaged for retail sale to European Union rises in 2016

In comparison with the prior year the indicator greatly increased by 42.85 percent, according to new figures released by European Commission. Yarn import sharply went up by 153 300 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it grew by 60.88 percent. The overall changes for the prior 9 years reached a drop of 33.31%. As well as it has attained a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.1% over the 5 years with a slight overall decrease since the start of time series. It averaged 784 222.22 kilogram from 2008 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 1 697 200 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 222 400 kilogram in 2014.
