Export of parts of lighters, other than flints and wicks from South Africa falls in 2017

In 2017 consumer goods export strongly fell by 30.16%, revised data from United Nations Statistical Office indicate. Consumer goods export went down greatly by 21 069.35 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it diminished by 20.45%. The overall changes for the previous 18 years reached a rise of 1 590.12%. Though, it has had a decrease at a 0.23% compound annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a slight overall raise since the start of time series. It averaged 41 047.7 US Dollar from 2000 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 178 759 US Dollar in 2013 and record low of 1 036 US Dollar in 2002.
