Import of live horses except pure-bred breeding to Ireland: Growth in 2017

Horses import sharply went up by 48.02% compared with the previous year, according to updated numbers published by United Nations Statistical Office. The variable increased greatly by 65 141 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it grew by 0.87 percent. The overall changes for the prior 26 years reached a fall of 27.48%. Besides, it has attained a drop at a 0.01% compound annual growth rate during the 5 years with a slight overall decline since the start of time series. It averaged 383 195.15 kilogram from 1992 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 1 717 162 kilogram in 2002 and record low of 134 483 kilogram in 2015.
