Fuel oil consumption in printing, reproduction of recording media in China falls in 2015

Compared with the prior year fuel oil consumption decreased by 28 percent, revised figures from China National Statistical Office show. It attained its 16-year low as fuel oil consumption dropped by 0.14 ten thousand metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it diminished by 36.71%. China saw a drop of 84.35% in fuel oil consumption during the last 16 years. Likewise, it has attained a decline at a 0.25% average annual growth rate over the last five years with a overall decrease since the start of time series. It averaged 1.48 ten thousand metric ton from 2000 to 2015 and it hit its maximum of 2.39 ten thousand metric ton in 2001.
