Flax yarn export increased greatly by 30.72 percent compared to the previous year, according to data presented by European Commission. Flax yarn export sharply rose from 4 427 500 Euro to 5 787 720 Euro, versus the prior year when it declined by 13.17 percent. It's the highest level on record since 2005. Italy saw an increase of 440.7% in flax yarn export over the past 13 years. Furthermore, it has shown the CAGR of 0.12 percent during the five years with a slight overall raise since the start of time series. It averaged 3 083 708.46 Euro from 2005 to 2017 and it hit its minimum of 1 070 410 Euro in 2005.
