Import of roasted chicory and other coffee substitutes to Serbia: Drop in 2016

The variable fell strongly by 43.03 percent in comparison to the year before, revised statistics from United Nations Statistical Office highlight. The indicator sharply dropped from 10 606 kilogram to 6 042 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went down by 65.32%. It displays the all-time minimum since 2005. Serbia saw a decline of 53.99% in chicory import over the past 12 years. Besides, it has shown a drop at a 0.18% CAGR during the last five years with a negligible overall diminution since the 2005. It averaged 17 518.75 kilogram from 2005 to 2016 and it attained its maximum of 30 579 kilogram in 2014.
