Import of ceramic flooring blocks, tiles and the like to Latvia drops in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office announced that in 2016 building materials import sharply dropped by 85.24 percent. The variable strongly fell from 485 400 US Dollar in 2015 to 71 665 US Dollar prior year, versus the previous year when it grew by 135.84%. The overall changes for the prior 23 years reached a growth of 98.72%. Still it has had a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.17 percent over the last five years with a negligible overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 182 903.48 US Dollar from 1994 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 616 523 US Dollar in 2013 and record low of 3 246 US Dollar in 1998.
